Hastelloy C22 Bars and Rods contain mainly nickel (56–60%), chromium (20–22%), molybdenum (12–15%), and traces of tungsten, iron, cobalt, and other stabilizing agents. This singular chemical makeup provides high resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Mechanically, the alloy possesses outstanding strength, weldability, and thermal stability up to 815°C (1500°F). The major advantages are long-term durability, excellent resistance in oxidizing and reducing environments, and performance under aggressive chemical conditions, so it is excellent for critical structural pieces in corrosive and high-temperature environments.
