What is Hastelloy C276 Bars and Rods?

Hastelloy C276 is a unique nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy that also contains iron and tungsten, giving it exceptional corrosion resistance. Its typical makeup includes approximately 57% Nickel, 15-17% Molybdenum, 14.5-16.5% Chromium, 4-7% Iron, and 3-4.5% Tungsten. This alloy boasts a tensile strength of around 760 MPa, a yield strength of about 283 MPa, and an elongation of 60%. It retains its strength and corrosion resistance even under high temperatures and extreme chemical conditions. With its resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, it’s perfectly suited for the most demanding industrial applications.
